It is moments from a typical, local restaurant and bar. Located on a promenade that runs along the sea front for many kilometres between Puerto Del Carmen and Arrecife. Mountain bikes are available with the property for guests wishing to enjoy the surroundings and to explore further a field without a car.
This attractive holiday bungalow is very comfortably furnished to a good standard and provides an idyllic location for a memorable holiday. It has a very spacious and light living room with ample seating. The separate well equipped kitchen is perfect for self catering cooking which includes a dining area. Each of the two bedrooms have large Canarian style double beds with fully fitted wardrobes giving generous storage space. The good quality family bathroom is large with a bath and overhead shower.
There are ceiling fans in the lounge and main bedroom with a free standing fan available for the second bedroom.
A gate from the beach promenade leads you onto a sun filled terrace which has a good sized patio dining table and barbeque perfect for alfresco dining. There is also a private, sun dappled decking area giving welcome relaxation for reading and siestas with colourful indigenous planting.
From the edge of the property it is ten metres to the vast golden sand beach, with the promenade leading in one direction past the airport into Matagorda which would be a 45 minute walk with Puerto Del Carmen a further 30 minutes walk. Or in the other direction there is the capital Arrecife, approx 45 minutes walk, of course these greatly reduce if travelling by bike.
There is a weekly maid service for those clients staying longer than one week.
Playa Honda is a typically Spanish area and in the evenings and at weekends the locals come out for strolls along the beach and enjoy tapas in one of the many bars and restaurants. The nearest small supermarket is two minutes walk from the property and ten to fifteen minutes walk takes you to the varied shops and the large Deiland shopping centre. The beach is relatively unspoilt as it is little known by tourists and so expansive that it is never crowded.
You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.
Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
