A holiday in Skiathos is the perfect choice for a great beach holiday. The beaches vary from the busier with water sports, to hidden gems where you could well be the only people there. If you can tear yourself away from the beaches on your Skiathos holiday the surrounding countryside provides some superb walking through the pine and oak forests that carpet the rolling hills.
Skiathos town itself is a picturesque jumble of red roofed buildings that climb up from the two little harbours. The sleepy town awakens as evening approaches and the waterfront and picturesque alleyways are busy with locals and visitors wandering through the maze of chic boutiques and tempting antique shops before whiling away the evening in one of the many excellent tavernas or restaurants to be found.
