Resorts
Caleta de Fuste
More infoOne of the main holiday centres, Caleta de Fuste is remarkably quiet. Convenient for the airport, its characteristic low-rise buildings have been built around a safe horseshoe bay, ideal for families. At the centre is a modern, village-like complex of shops, bars and restaurants.
Corralejo
More infoThe northernmost town of Fuerteventura centres activities around boats and the sea. Take a small cruise to the nearby island of Lobos, admire the weather beaten fishing boats or sample the local catch in one of the many excellent seafood restaurants. Visitors are drawn by the excellent natural views and pristine beaches.
El Cotillo
More infoThis small fishing village, largely untouched by tourism, is full of interesting buildings, such as the fortified tower. The harbour has a famous rock (see the picture) which is actually a hinderance to fishermen trying to navigate round in stormier weather (although it does look impressive ...!)
