This superb, detached villa is located in a peaceful residential area. It offers an excellent standard of holiday accommodation, just a five minute drive away from the centre of Playa Blanca.

This beautiful, single storey villa is tastefully decorated throughout. The living room has a high ceiling, giving a feeling of light and space and has patio doors leading to a covered terrace. The contemporary kitchen is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar and it has a door leading to a covered dining terrace. Villa Tuineje has two attractive bedrooms. A bedroom with a double bed has access to a shower room and a twin bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There are shutters on all of the windows and fans are provided.

Patio doors from the living room lead to a covered terrace, a great place to relax in the shade and overlooks the 8 x 3 metre swimming pool, which is entered by roman steps. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with ample sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the Lanzarote sun and enjoying the sub-tropical gardens. From the kitchen there is a door leading to a typical Canarian covered dining terrace, at the side of the house.

It is close to all that the lovely southern coast of Lanzarote has to offer, including the breathtaking Papagayo beaches. A small selection of restaurants, bars and a convenience store are within a five minute walk from the villa.

For guests staying longer than 7 nights there is a weekly maid service.

Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

This villa is conveniently located a five minute drive from the centre of the resort, towards the old lighthouse of Playa Blanca. Within a five minute walk is a small commercial centre with a mini-mart and a couple of restaurants but a greater selection can be found in the town centre of Playa Blanca. In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. The start of the 5 km long promenade which runs along the seafront and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops is a very short drive from the villa.

The nearest golden sand beach is Playa Flamingo, a five minute drive away which is extremely popular with families due to its shallow, calm lagoon. The harbour of Playa Blanca is also the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to the unspoilt Papagayo beaches. The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a fifteen minute drive away within the Los Ajaches Natural Park and are famous for their golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters. The traditional Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya.

How To Get There

You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.

Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
