February greets the Arricife Carnival in Lanzarote

The Arrecife Carnival runs from February 16-23rd in Lanzarote's capital, and is a holiday highlight for many. Locals (and tourists) dress up in outrageous costumes and dance the nights away to Latin congas, sambas and rumbas, along with displaying their skills are traditional Canary Island routines. There are events and openings all over town to mark the weeklong celebration. We have plenty of wonderful apartments and villas that can be rented for the period, with Arricife easy to reach from any of the resorts on the island. Lanzarote also offers plenty of other attractions to see and do, or you can just lounge in the wonderful winter/spring sun.
