Villa Benitez is situated on a delightful quiet residential development within a twenty minute walk of Playa Blanca

This excellent, single storey, detached villa is decorated to a high standard, using good quality furnishings. The spacious living room has a high, vaulted ceiling, leather sofas, a plasma TV and patio doors to the garden and pool area. An archway leads to the attractive dining room, which has seating for eight, a ceiling fan and doors to the poolside terrace. The well-equipped, modern kitchen is fully fitted for a self-catering holiday and has access to a utility area with a washing machine and tumble drier. Villa Benita has four, attractive bedrooms, which have electric fans and mosquito netting on the windows. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with a large Jacuzzi bath and a separate walk-in shower. There is a further bedroom with a double bed, one with twin beds and one with a single bed, with a second pull-out bed. These rooms share a full, family shower room, with a large, walk-in double shower.

The villa is set in a south facing garden, with an extensive sunbathing terrace surrounding the 6x4 metre, electrically heated swimming pool. It is entered by roman steps and for families with young children, benefits from the added safety of being gated. A barbecue and outdoor patio furniture enhance the idyllic setting for al fresco dining and relaxing in long hours of wonderful, warm sunshine. This villa benefits from private, gated, off road parking.

For guests staying longer than seven nights, there is a weekly maid service. Internet connection is available at this villa and is to be arranged and paid for locally.

A car is recommended but is not considered essential for this accommodation.

Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

This lovely villa is located on a prestigious development of new, luxury villas on the outskirts of Playa Blanca town centre. The resort centre is approximately a fifteen minute walk or two minute drive from the villa and the nearest beach, Playa Flamingo, is about the same distance and is extremely popular with families due to its shallow, calm nature. There is a local supermarket just a five minute walk from the villa. In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. A pretty promenade runs along the seafront and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops. The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and are famous throughout Spain for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters. The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya. The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to Papagayo beaches. The recently opened, Puerto Rubicon Marina is a ten minute drive from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants. Several excursions, including a catamaran trip depart from the Marina.

How To Get There

You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.

Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
