This beautiful villa is stylishly decorated, using warm tropical colours. The open plan living room has comfortable bamboo sofas and a large formal dining area. For those who would like a quiet room to relax and read, there is a small room leading off the living area which also doubles as a playroom for children. It has a Television, DVD player and Playstation 2 with a choice of games. The kitchen is spacious and modern and has a breakfast bar. Villa Mar Vistas has five attractively decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite shower room and patio doors leading to the pool area. The four remaining bedrooms share two family bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and patio doors leading to the pool area and three bedrooms have twin beds.
Villa Mar Vistas has a large, south-facing terrace, which is perfect for soaking up the Lanzarote sunshine. Guests have a choice of al-fresco dining areas, at either the villas marble dining table, or the typical Canarian barbecue area. The private, electrically heated swimming pool measures 6 x 3 meters and is entered via ladder steps. The pool is gated to provide added security for small children. There is a small terrace at the front of the villa, which offers fabulous sea views and romantic sunsets. Villa Mar Vistas also has private parking and a small children’s play area.
For guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid service.
The villa is conveniently located a few minutes drive outside of the centre of the resort. The nearest supermarket is a two minute drive and there is a good selection of restaurants and bars within a five minute drive. The beautiful, golden Playa Flamingo beach is also within this distance. In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. A pretty promenade runs along the seafront and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops. The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a ten minute drive away and are famous throughout Spain for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters. The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfya. The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to Papagayo beaches. The recently opened, Puerto Rubicon Marina is a ten minute drive from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants. Several excursions, including a catamaran trip depart from the Marina. Playa Blanca is approximately a 40 minute transfer from the airport.
You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.
Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
