Villa Sophia is a single storey villa which has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and provides relaxing holiday accommodation. A hallway leads into the very spacious living room, which has been furnished with quality, leather furnishings and has large patio doors to a covered terrace. For guests’ entertainment, there is a TV, DVD and a CD player. There is a well-equipped, separate kitchen with a wall oven, separate grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a breakfast table. The villa has three bedrooms, with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. There are two bedrooms with double beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed along with a single bed and they share a full bathroom and a shower room.
Outside the living room is a large, covered and very protected dining terrace, with seating for seven, providing an idyllic venue for al fresco dining in the warm Lanzarote climate. It overlooks the 6x3 metre, heated swimming pool, which is accessed by integral steps. There is an ample sun terrace surrounding the pool, with seven sun beds and a good degree of privacy is provided by high surrounding walls.
There is a weekly maid service and a mid week towel change.
The villa is located very centrally, within a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Las Cucharas beach. There are many restaurants along the beach front and from there it is a 10 minute walk along the promenade into the centre of Costa Teguise, with all its many and varied facilities. As well as fabulous swimming, the beach is famous for being an excellent windsurfing centre and there is a windsurf school on the beach. The resort boasts many superb restaurants and shops, many of which are within walking distance of the villa and it is a short drive to the golf course and the nearby aqua park. It is a 15 minute drive to the airport and 20 minutes to the lively resort of Puerto Del Carmen.
You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.
Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
