Offering beautiful views to the sea and the neighbouring islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura, Villa Vista Maratima is set in sub-tropical gardens and is located in an established residential area of the highly sought after resort of Playa Blanca.
This beautiful, extremely spacious and bright, single storey villa has been stylishly furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The generous proportions and harmonious use of colour, together with luxurious leather furnishings give it a sophisticated atmosphere in a perfect holiday setting. It has a generous sized living room with 42" LCD flat screen high definition TV and DVD with Dolby Surround Sound and sea views through patio doors leading to a covered dining terrace. There is an open plan, formal dining area and a contemporary fitted kitchen. Villa Vista Maritima has five attractive bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, four have ceiling fans and the fifth has a free standing electric fan. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a combined TV/DVD and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. There are three bedrooms with twin beds one of which has patio doors to a very sheltered, private terrace. The fifth bedroom has a double bed. There are two large, separate bathrooms, one of which is very luxurious with a fabulous double Jacuzzi bath.The villa has the added advantage of an internet connection point for guests bringing a laptop computer.
This lovely villa is set in an attractive, sub-tropical garden and has extensive, south facing terraces offering sea views and the romantic sight of ferries crossing to the island of Fuerteventura from the harbour. A large dining table and chairs are placed on the raised, covered and extremely sheltered terrace outside the living room. Next to it a large built-in Canarian barbeque provides the final touch for enjoying hours of relaxing al fresco dining in the marvellous Playa Blanca climate. This area overlooks the 9x3.5 metre heated swimming pool which is accessed by roman steps. The pool area has the benefit of being gated from the remainder of the property for the added security of small children. A delightful, totally protected terrace with patio furniture is located outside one of the twin bedrooms. The villa is walled and gated and benefits from off street parking.
The nearby area offers a wealth of amenities, beautiful golden beaches, luxury hotels with spa facilities and many excursions and activities.
For clients staying longer than a week there is a weekly maid service and there is a mid-week towel change.
Villa Vista Maritima is located on an exclusive development of individually designed and privately owned villas. It is a very established residential area with mature gardens and clients have the added benefit of the use of a communal swimming pool situated a few minutes walk from the villa. The villa is conveniently located a few minutes drive outside the centre of the resort. The nearest supermarket is a few minutes (300m) walk or a two minute drive and there is a good selection of restaurants and bars within a five minute drive, as well as the beautiful, golden Playa Flamingo beach. Clients can walk the 1.5km to this beach along a made up road in about 30 minutes. The recently opened, sophisticated Puerto Rubicon Marina is an eight minute drive from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants. Several excursions, including a catamaran trip, depart from the Marina. The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is also the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to Papagayo beaches. In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. A pretty promenade runs along the seafront and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops. The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a ten minute drive away and are famous throughout Spain for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters. The traditional, peaceful, Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya. Playa Blanca is approximately a 40 minute transfer from the airport.
You can fly directly to Arrecife airport on Lanzarote from a large number of domestic airports on a daily basis. The flight time is approximately 3-4 hours depending on where you are flying from. There are flights with low cost carriers (Easyjet) and charters such as Monarch and First Choice.
Lanzarote is a compact island to travel around with a high quality road network. To make the most of your holiday on Lanzarote and to give you the best possible chance to visit the all the places worth seeing on the island we strongly recommend that you consider hiring a car.
