Puerto Calero is the quietest resort on the whole of Lanzarote offering some stunning views and some of the best harbours on the Island. It is located only a few kilometres from Puerto del Carmen, but is a world away in style and atmosphere. The harbour (also known as Millionaires Harbour) which opened in 1989, has been host to boats and yachts worth up to and over 10 Million euros. Puerto Calero has grown in recent years and become one of the Island's more exclusive neighbourhoods. This factor along with the luxury hotels that have been built there, mean that the area has become popular as a holiday resort in its own right, even though it doesn't have a beach.
There is a main walk way along the harbour which is filled with shops and restaurants. This is a perfect place for people to visit who want to relax, enjoy good food and treat themselves whilst taking in amazing views.
