Situated about nine kilometres north of Arrecife on the island of Lanzarote is the relatively new seaside resort of Costa Teguise, developed mainly since 1977 it is now the 3rd most popular resort on the island attracting holidaymakers all year round, who come to enjoy the fine beaches, lovely climate and excellent range of facilities.
Sun worshippers will find plenty to satisfy them in Costa Teguise and the beaches are sandy and clean, the best known beaches are Playa Los Cucharas, Playa Los Charcos and Playa Bastian.
